Chanting the Name of God with unwavering faith and devotion holds the potential to foster goodwill, peace, and harmony among people worldwide. True peace stems from harmony within individuals, their homes, workplaces, and friendships, all of which are interconnected, reflecting the awareness of the interdependence among all beings.
Genesis
In the late seventies and early eighties, Pujya Mataji Krishnabai initiated a Sankalpa of a 15500 Crore Nama Japa Yagna for world peace. Devotees fervently contribute their Nama Japa counts towards this Yagna, which has already completed three rounds and is currently in its fourth round. However, the realisation of peace on a broader scale requires more than just chanting. It necessitates cultivating harmony with others by accepting situations and individuals as ordained by a Higher Power — God. Thus, alongside chanting, it’s essential to strive for peaceful relationships in all circumstances, whether during chanting or other activities, to manifest peace collectively on a global scale.
Japa Received
By the abundant grace of the Lord, so far devotees have completed 3 rounds of the 15500 crore Nama Yagna For Vishwa Shanti. Currently the fourth round is in progress.
The total Japa received in the fourth round of the 15500-Crore Nama Japa Yagna for World Peace in the month of March 2024 is 200 crores, chanted by 18100 devotees. The grand total of the Japa done so far in this round now stands at 2010 crores.
Ram Nam Bank
Ram Nam Likhita Japa was started with a target of 25 crores, with a view to make a symbolic presentation of the Likhita Japa note-books to Pujya Mataji Krishnabai on the 29th September 1955, on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of her renunciation. However, the Likhita Japa continued even after that, though with lesser intensity, and is still continuing. All these books are stored in a special room called the ‘Ram Nam Bank’. The total Likhita Japa received till March 2024 was ___ crores.
